An Evansville man is accused of having drugs inside his home near a school.
Indiana State Police say James Smith,42, was arrested after they found meth, cocaine, marijuana, syringes, and other drug-related items inside his home on Washington Avenue.
Troopers say that home is about 600 feet away from Washington Middle School.
Troopers also say Smith's girlfriend and her two young children live at the home, but weren't home during the arrest.
