VINCENNES, IN (WFIE) -
The Vincennes Police Department has identified a student found dead early this morning.
He is 19-year-old William Torrance of Bargersville, Indiana.
Police say Torrance became a pledge for a fraternity last night and attended a drinking party at a home in the 600 block of Perry Street.
He was found in poor condition this morning at the home. Residents there called 911 and tried to revive him.
Torrance died a short time later.
An autopsy has been performed, but the results won't be back for weeks. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.
