Thursday morning, around 11:30, Trooper Doug Francis was patrolling in the area of Old 41 and Robinson Lane when he observed a vehicle being driven by 35-year-old Jeffery Yarbrough, 35, of Vincennes.
The Trooper found out that Yarbrough has an active felony warrant out of Daviess County.
He attempted to stop Yarbrough as he turned into Robinson Trailer Park where he lives, but Yarbrough drove to his trailer and ran inside. 21-year-old Heather Whitlow was a passenger in the car and was immediately detained. Moments later, Yarbrough was taken into custody without further incident.
When Yarbrough's vehicle was searched, the trooper found a loaded 9 mm Glock pistol on the front seat under the armrest. A search warrant was later obtained for the residence and a pickup truck that was parked near the trailer.
While searching the residence troopers found digital scales, numerous pseudoephedrine pills, marijuana and a small amount of meth. Troopers found a meth lab and ingredients commonly used to manufacture meth inside the cab of the pickup truck.
Yarbrough was arrested and his currently being held in the Daviess County Jail. Whitlow was arrested and is currently being held on bond in the Knox County Jail. Yarbrough was also arrested for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, which is a Class D Felony and Resisting Law Enforcement, a Class A Misdemeanor.
