HOPKINS CO., KY (WFIE) -

Kentucky State Police say reports of a student bringing a gun to a Hopkins County High School are false.

Troopers say they received information that a student brought a gun to West Hopkins School and showed it to other students.

Troopers met with administrators Tuesday morning. They say the item in question was actually an action figure, not a weapon.
