EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -
Evansville Police need your help identifying a suspected armed robbery suspect.
They say it happened Thursday night around nine o'clock at the intersection of North Main and Franklin.
The robbery left the 57-year-old victim with minor injuries. The victim told police that while she was walking near the intersection, she was approached by a man. The suspect physically assaulted the victim and demanded her belongings. The suspect took her jewelry and ran off.
Officers searched the area, but did not find the robber.
The suspect is described as a white male, around 6 feet tall and 190 pounds, Unshaven with long sideburns, and wearing a red flannel shirt under black hoodie or jacket.
