BOWLING GREEN, KY (WFIE) -
A Western Kentucky University student from Owensboro is in intensive care after family members say he was beaten by three men.
Dylan Nonweiler, 20, was walking with his girlfriend on campus around 1:30 Sunday morning when the men pulled up and made comments about Nonweiler's girlfriend.
Dylan's mom tells 14 News that Dylan said something back to the men and the men started hitting Nonweiler, knocking him out and then continued kicking him once he was unconscious.
He is in intensive care at Vanderbilt University Hospital. Family members say Nonweiler didn't know the men.
A Bowling Green police officer tells 14 News they talked with the three men, but no charges have been filed in the case at this point.
