EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -
Evansville Police use an anonymous tip to make an arrest in connection with a string of vehicle break-ins reported January 10th. The thefts occurred in the area of 4th and Columbia.
Police say they first learned the suspect's name after receiving that tip.
The investigation led detectives to 1221 Fountain Ave., where they arrest 33-year-old Anthony Burris.
Burris was arrested on theft from a motor vehicle charges after a search warrant was executed at his house.
Other items were recovered during the search warrant, including Ipods, Ipads, car stereos, Karaoke equipment, tools, a stun gun and jewelry.
