Coroners have released more details about Terry Thompson, the Ohio man who released dozens of animals from their cages before committing suicide.
In October, Thompson released over 50 wild animals in Zanesville, Ohio.
A final coroner's report shows that decision was a sober one. Thompson did not have any alcohol or illegal drugs in his system.
The findings also confirm that Thompson died from a self inflicted gunshot wound. He was bitten and clawed by large cats after his death.
Only six of the 56 animals released survived.
A grizzly bear, two leopards and two monkeys were captured and taken to the Columbus zoo.
