Vanderburgh man gives fake name in meth-related arrest

A Vanderburgh County chase ends with two meth-related arrests in Warrick County.

According to the Vanderburgh Sheriff's Office, deputies pulled over a truck for a traffic violation around midnight Tuesday on Burkhardt Rd., but before the truck sped away, the passenger gave the deputies a fake name.

That passenger turned out to be 31-year-old Warren Michael Morris who was wanted for an outstanding Illinois warrant related to meth.

Both Morris and the driver were arrested after deputies found meth-related materials in the truck on Baughs Drive near Chandler.

The name of the driver has not been released.
