5 arrested as ISP find over 600 pseudoephedrine pills in home

Five people have been arrested after Indiana State Police find over 600 pseudoephedrine pills.

Around 10:20 a.m. Friday morning, ISP responded to a complaint of illegal drug activity Vincennes. 

As authorities entered the residence, they found drug paraphernalia and small amounts of meth and marijuana. 

While searching a bedroom inside the home, ISP troopers found over 600 pseudoephedrine pills hidden in a stereo speaker. 

The homeowner, 62-year-old William Collins and two tenants, 34-year-old Douglas Oliver and 38-year-old Gabrielle Major were arrested for various drug offenses. 

Troopers also arrested two guests, 21-year-old Paul Jensen of Decker, and 20-year-old Ashley Burden of Vincennes. 

All five were taken to the Knox County Jail.

Collins, Oliver, Major and Jenson are currently being held on bond. Burden was later released after posting bond.

The residence was within 1,000 feet of Tecumseh Harrison Elementary School.

Collins, Oliver and Major are all charged with Possession of methamphetamine, Possession of Pseudoephedrine over 10 grams, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Henson was charged with Possession of methamphetamine and Visiting a Common Nuisance.

Burden has been charged with Visiting a Common Nuisance.
