Three arrested on meth charges in Muhlenberg Co.

DRAKESBORO, KY (WFIE) -

Three men are arrested on meth charges in Muhlenberg County.

Officers of the Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department were investigating drug activity at a home on State Route 176 in Drakesboro when they learned that a working methamphetamine lab was in the back yard.

Deputies also found anhydrous ammonia, a meth making ingredient, being manufactured behind the residence. 

During the search, deputies say suspected bags of meth were located inside in the home.

The home's resident, Jimmy W. Gardner, 49, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and two counts of possession controlled substance.

Christopher D. Dukes, 22, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.

Nicholas A. Riley, 21, was also charged with manufacturing meth and possession of meth.
