Two teens and two pedestrians have been killed in a fiery accident in northern New York near the Vermont border.

The crash happened Tuesday night in Schuyler Falls.

Authorities think a car driven by 17-year-old Brandon Rennert hit two foreign exchange students, then crashed into an earthen embankment and erupted into flames.

Rennert and his 17-year-old girlfriend, Samantha Donah, were killed in the crash.

Both pedestrians were students at Seton Catholic School in Plattsburgh.

The accident is under investigation.
