ST. LOUIS (AP) - The St. Louis Cardinals have lost 8 of their last 10 games heading into tonight's (7:15 p.m.) match-up with the San Diego Padres at Busch Stadium. The Cards open a 7-game home-stand with Jaime Garcia getting the start. Garcia is 3-2 this year, while Padres starter Clayton Richard is 2-5.

HOUSTON (AP) - Matt Garza will be on the mound for the Chicago Cubs tonight (7:05 p.m.) when they open a 3-game series in Houston. Garza will be making his eighth start of the season, and he's 2-1 so far. The Astros plan to hand the ball to Bud Norris, who is 4-1 overall after posting a 0.47 ERA in May.

And the 2015 season wraps up on Nov. 28 with six games, including an Illinois-Northwestern matchup.
