McLean Co. library goes mobile

The McLean County library isn't sitting still. They're now on wheels, and they're taking learning to surrounding towns. They just picked up their new bookmobile Thursday afternoon.

Library director, Aimee Newberry says having this bookmobile will allow the library to reach more surrounding areas like Sacramento and Calhoun and Beechgrove. The library is located in Livermore.

The library went mobile because there are so many rural areas in McLean County. Some don't have transportation or are disabled. It's a great service to get free resources out to the community. The bookmobile's first stop will be at Livermore's Riverfest on Saturday.
