Brystal Chambers, 21, was found dead in her Henderson home in June.
Family and friends are wondering why the autopsy results still haven't been released.
14 News talked with the Henderson County Coroner's Office Thursday.
They say they have the autopsy results from the medical examiner in Louisville, but can't yet release them due to an ongoing investigation.
Chamber's sister, Brianna Goines, tells 14 News she hadn't heard any news from officials in about a month.
"I'm frustrated, upset," Goines says. "I feel like I'm kind of in the blue because they haven't told us anything and we don't know what's going on."
Goines says her sister loved spending time with her two-year-old son Ty'yell and relaying the situation to him is the hardest part.
"How do you tell a two-year-old that his mom isn't coming back? So, we're just doing our best to raise him."
Chambers worked at the Henderson Hardee's restaurant.
Co-workers called her a good friend and her sister says she loved spending time with family.
"She was a very outgoing, friendly person, very strong-willed. She wasn't a stranger to anybody."
Goines tells 14 News there is a memorial fund for chambers set up at Fifth Third Bank.
14 News will have more on this story as it becomes available.
