GIBSON COUNTY, IN (WFIE) -

In Gibson County, a Mackey business has concerns about staying open after it notices a decline in business from coal miners.

The Mackey Town Council sent a letter to Black Beauty Coal Mine asking truckers traveling between mines to use Highway 57 instead of driving through town.

The council says they don't intend to hinder business.

The owner of Winky-Dink's Convenience store says she relies on truckers for 75-percent of business.
