Recipe from Mary Wilson of Poughkeepsie, Ark.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 8 hours
5 lb. deer ham
1 lb. potatoes
1 lb. carrots
1 can beer
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Seasoned meat tenderizer.
Wash vegetables and cut up into large pieces.
Place in slow-cooker on top of the deer ham.
Coat top of all well with the spices.
Pour 1 can of beer (your choice) over all & and add 3/4 cup water.
Do not add any extra salt!
Cook on medium for 7-8 hours or until tender.
Servings: Makes approximately 8-10 servings
Comments: Don't let cooker run dry
