The Evansville Otters begin their 2011 campaign Friday  night, as they battle the Florence Freedom, at Bosse Field.

This year's team has the advantage of starting the season with Andy Maccauley, who was hired as manager during the 2nd-half of last season.

The Otters now have their opening day roster of 25 players set, including 7 players that return from last years team.

That means 18 newcomers will play a huge role in Evansville's success, and the team is confident, that this group can turn around the franchise

First pitch between the Otters and Freedom is set for 6:35 p.m. Friday.

Anyone that brings two non-perishable food items for the Tri-State Food Bank will get a free ticket to the game.
