CHICAGO, IL (AP) - Celebrity chef Guy Fieri is set to cook with Chicago public school students.
Chicago Public Schools officials say Food Network chef Guy Fieri will help students make and serve appetizers at a reception on Sunday afternoon.
The reception at McCormick Place is to benefit the Careers Through Culinary Arts Program.
The program works with public schools nationwide to prepare students for college and careers in the restaurant and hospitality industry.
It offers scholarships, cooking competitions, job training and internships.
Students from more than a dozen Chicago public schools are participating.
