Work continues on Mount Auburn Road on Evansville's west side. Crews are working on providing sewer access to the neighborhood. Drivers can expect delays between Saint Joseph Avenue and Bismark Avenue between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Repairs continue on Starlite Drive in Owensboro. Sections of Starlite will be closed at times from Parrish Avenue to North York Street. Detours will be posted. Work is scheduled to wrap up on June 6th.

The 2012 Click It or Ticket Campaign is underway in Illinois May 11th – May 28th, and begins today in Indiana May 18-June 3. In Kentucky it will start May 21-June 3. During this time period, troopers will conduct seat belt safety checks. A special emphasis of these enforcement zones will be on nighttime seat belt violations.

In Union County, the right turn lane on westbound US 60 Business to Kentucky 56 in Morganfield is closed due to a sewer line collapse. Motorists traveling from Downtown Morganfield toward Sturgis should use caution. No word yet on when the lane will reopen.

Repairs begin today on East 25th Street in Owensboro. Sections of the street will be closed from New Hartford Road to Breckenridge Street. Detours will be posted. Work is scheduled to wrap up June 6th.

Bergdolt Road in northern Vanderburgh County will be closed between Hitch and Peters Road and Oak Hill Road while Vectren crews work on a transmission pipeline. The road is scheduled to reopen sometime before July 4th.

Kentucky Transportation officials are warning drivers near the Eggners Ferry Bridge not to pull over and watch bridge work, because it's a traffic hazard. If you want to watch, park at Old Kuttawa, the parking area along the LBL Canal off Kentucky 453, or at overlooks along the canal loop trail. The bridge is scheduled to reopen to traffic by Memorial Day weekend.

A reminder that the next phase of the Highway 41 project is underway in Gibson County. One lane is closed between State Road 168 and County Road 350 South near Toyota. The speed limit is down to 45 miles per hour so use caution.

Crews are working on pavement markings on four-lane roads including Highway 41, Highway 50 and State Road 37. Drivers are urged to use caution when encountering striping crews and when possible, those crews will move off the road to allow vehicles to pass. Work is scheduled to wrap up by the end of May.

Construction has started on hundreds of parking spots in Downtown Evansville. The front half of the back 40 lot behind the Civic Center will be closed from now until about May 2nd. The remaining area will be closed from May 2nd until June 15th. In the meantime drivers will have to use on-street parking or the garages on Locust and Sycamore Streets.

Millersburg Road remains closed in Vanderburgh County for bridge replacement. The closure runs from Hedden Road to Christian Fellowship Church. The detour route includes Oak Hill Road, Heckel, and Green River Road. Work on the entire reconstruction project is scheduled to continue through December 7th.
