Jason Cox

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Evansville police are hoping you can help them find a suspected thief.

Police say Jason Cox was scheduled to appear in court on charges that he stole some expensive metal plates from Industrial Service in December.

Police say Cox didn't show up for his court appearance.

Then on January 6, surveillance video captured him attempting to steal from Premiere Electric in Evansville.

Police say they knew it was Cox on the video and went to find him.  He has since went into hiding.

He now has an active felony warrant for his arrest for failing to appear in that case and the warrant is pending in the Premiere case.

If you know where Cox might be, please call Evansville police at 812-436-7988.
