CARMI, IL (WFIE) - Three men were arrested Wednesday on drug charges in White County, Ill.

Sheriff's deputies say they got a tip a maroon PT Cruiser was en route from Carmi to Shawneetown and the men inside were believed to have been making meth earlier in the day.

A Carmi police officer spotted the vehicle and pulled the driver over at Elm and Fifth Streets for not using a turn signal. Authorities say they found meth, marijuana, and a handgun.

36-year old Jason Seavers of Ridgeway, 54-year old Tony Goforth of Shawneetown, and 21-year old Joshua James of Evansville were all arrested and taken to the White County jail where they're facing various charges.
