Brett Hoffland joined the WFIE team in January 2011 as a reporter in Madisonville, Kentucky.
He joins us from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois where his interest for a career in television began.
Brett's passion to report continued at Miami University where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication.
He was an active member of Miami Television News, the bi-weekly news program covering stories in Oxford, Ohio.
In his final summer before graduating, Brett had an internship at WKRC-TV in Cincinnati, Ohio.
When he is not working, Brett loves following all Chicago sports teams, especially the Cubs.
Brett enjoys traveling as well and had the opportunity to sing on a cruise ship for 6 months in an Acapella quartet.
He says it was the most incredible experience of his life traveling around the world. He also enjoys staying active and loves meeting new people.
Brett lives and reports in Madisonville, Kentucky and is excited to serve the community through 14 News.
Although he's used to a big city, Brett is excited to call Madisonville his home.
