EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - There are still no definite plans for Roberts Stadium when the new arena opens. The Wesselman-Roberts committee is continuing to ask for public input.
The committee passed out 500 flyers this weekend trying to get an idea of what the public wants.
The group has been working for over a month now forming a research committee made up of community members, engineers, and bi-partisan government leaders.
The committee says they have three questions for the public.
They want to know what is the best use for the land, how to fund that use, and if the stadium itself isn't able to be saved what should the land be used for.
The group says it will then take the ideas before city county, county council and other government bodies.
If you have an idea and a funding source, the group wants to hear from you.
