SEARED AHI TUNA

INGREDIENTS:

 ½ CUP SOY SAUCE

¼ CUP GREEN ONIONS

1 TBSP. OF SESAME SEED OIL

2 TBSP MINCED GARLIC

1 TBSP. CRUSHED RED PEPPERS

 

2 WHOLE LIMES

4 LBS. SUSHI GRADE YELLOWFIN TUNA

¼ CUP TOASTED SESAME SEEDS

2 TBSP. OF HONEY

 

METHOD:

MIX ALL INGREDIENTS IN A BOWL EXCLUDING TUNA & SESAME SEEDS FOR A MARINADE.

MARINATE TUNA FOR 2 TO 4 MINUTES.

PRE -HEAT SAUTEE PAN.

ADD  1 TSP. OF SESAME OIL TO YOUR PRE-HEATED SAUTEE PAN.

SEAR THE TUNA FOR ONE MINUTE ON EACH SIDE.

AFTER SEARING, ROLL IN TOASTED SESAME SEEDS.

SLICE TUNA IN ¼ INCH CUTS.
