    The FBI confirmed a special agent fatally shot a man in custody while conducting "official duties," spokesman Dave Couvertier told NBC News. In a WESH interview, a friend identified the deceased as Ibragim Todashev, 27.

Jackie joined the 14 News team in August 2009. She anchors 14 News at 4:00 p.m., 9:00 on 14Xtra and co-anchors the 10:00 p.m. news with David James.

Before coming to WFIE, Jackie anchored at WTVW in Evansville for five years.  She also worked at KSNT in Topeka, Kansas as a morning anchor and at KVIA in El Paso, Texas as a reporter.

Jackie graduated from Saint Cloud State University in Minnesota in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications/Journalism. 

Since coming to 14 News, Jackie has given birth to twins.

She's fascinated with mid-century modern furniture. Jackie likes indy rock, the NFL, and window seats on airplanes.
