EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Police are looking for a suspect they say fatally shot one man and left two others wounded.

The suspect is Michael Anthony Lane, Jr. He's wanted for murder, two counts of attempted murder, and conspiracy to deal a controlled substance.

Officers say they are familiar with Lane. They say he was arrested on cocaine charges in the past.

In January, a shooting at Woodland Apartments left one man dead and two wounded. Police say the shooting happened on Evansville's southeast side in the 2600 block of Lodge Avenue, south of Riverside.

Police say the three met up with Lane, who is know as "Little Mike."

They say Lane got inside the car with the victims, but then shot them after getting into a fight.

Officers say one of the victims returned fire on Lane, but they are not sure if he was hit.

Michael Hooper, Sr., 38 of Evansville, was killed.

Police are looking for Lane and would love your help.  They say he has two wrist tattoos; one that says "Cora" and another that says "Trill".

Police say Lane should be considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information should call police at 436-7979.
