Taking a Stand: Fall Festival

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - As a new resident of the Tri State Area, I'm getting pretty excited about attending the 89th Fall Festival, presented by the famous West Side Nut Club.

This year's theme is Supporting the Community, Building Our Future.

Besides becoming this nation's second largest festival, our community is fortunate to have 300 dedicated West Side Nut Club members who work countless hours so that 125 nonprofit organizations can fund their efforts.

They have contributed over $4 million toward numerous community projects, area schools and organizations.

As a new citizen of the area, I would like to thank them for their long term commitment and ask that you continue to have a great time as we have done together for the past 89 years.

We are lucky to have this event.

There are numerous new entertainment events and munchies this year.

I look forward to seeing you there.
