Olympians trade snowsuits for swimsuits

(NBC) - Sports Illustrated hits the slopes with some Olympic athletes.

Half-pipe snowboarder Clair Bidez is 22 years old and hails from Minturn, Colorado.

Her brother Dylan is also on the U.S. Snowboarding Team.

"It was particularly important to me to do this swimsuit issue because I think it's so great that they're involving athletes,� said Bidez.

Lindsey Vonn is a 25 year old alpine ski racer, who won her first gold medal Wednesday. 

She's a Saint Paul, Minnesota native and has been skiing since she was two.

Lindsey is the first American to win back-to-back overall world cup championships.

"I was really looking forward to the opportunity you know be shot for once without my helmet on and my ski clothes," Vonn said.

Aerial skier Lacy Schnoor is 24-years-old she originates from Salt Lake City and used to be a gymnast before entering the world of competitive skiing.

"I was just completely overwhelmed and excited and nervous cause I haven't really done the modeling thing that much," said Schnoor.

Snowboarder Hannah Teter is 22.

She comes from Belmont, Vermont and already has a Ben & Jerry's flavor named after her: "Hannah Teter's Maple Blondie!"

The steamy snow gal already has a gold medal, winning it in the 2006 Olympic games.
