EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Roberts Stadium hosted the IHSAA individual wrestling semi-state Saturday afternoon.

Wrestlers from all over southern Indiana competed for spots in next week's state finals up in Indianapolis.

The top four place winners in each weight class advanced to the finals, and for guys like Reitz's Zach Wimpelberg, it's an amazing feeling to make it this far.

"I wanted to do this all four years in high school," Wimpelberg said. "I've lettered all four years. This is my fourth year, my second year being here. Last year I was one away, and this year I finally got it. It felt really good."

Zach and the rest of those who qualified will compete next weekend at Conseco Fieldhouse on Friday and Saturday.
