EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - In Evansville, hundreds of families spent Friday at the 76th annual Hadi Shrine Circus.
There was a matinee at 2:00 p.m. and there will be an evening performance at 7:00.
"Overall it's all about fun. Having a good time, good wholesome family entertainment, g-rated entertainment for lack of a better term," said Brian Ball with the Hadi Shrine Circus. "So many times people have a hard time this time of year, especially with the recession going on, trying to find reasonable ways to enjoy time with their family. The staycation is very popular right now. What better way to do that than the Hadi Shrine Circus.
There will also be shows Saturday at 9:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m., and Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
