Winter Weather a Mess in Central Indiana

(Muncie-AP) -- Several counties in east-central Indiana are under snow or travel emergencies Sunday morning. Level Three emergencies have been posted in Blackford and Jay counties, where police report numerous roads have drifted shut. Officials in Madison County have declared a Level One snow emergency.

(Indianapolis-AP) -- Saturday's winter storm is being blamed for a fatal crash on Interstate 69 southwest of Muncie. The victim's car spun into the rear of a state police car on the median of I-69. And in northeastern Indiana, the storm was blamed in a power outage that knocked out electricity for several hours.
