What is 14xtra and how do I get it?

Posted: Updated:

You can find 14Xtra on your antenna and also on Insight, WOW and Time Warner cable systems.

If you get 14 WFIE using an antenna, 14xtra is 14.2.

If you have cable, use the following guide to find our new programming.

Insight -  Channel 436
WOW -  Channel 104
Time Warner - 301, 183 (Legacy), or 161 (Dixon)

Dish Network and DirecTv are not offering 14.2 or 14.3 but you can still get it if you follow these easy steps.

If you have an analog TV, you will still need a converter box to get 14Xtra.

If you have a digital set, you will just need an antenna.

You can choose between a standard antenna, used if you live near a city, or an outdoor antenna, if you live in a rural area.

Hook your antenna to your satellite box, VCR or television.

Use the remote that corresponds with the item you hooked the antenna into to switch the input to antenna.

Then you will be able to switch inputs on your television between satellite or antenna.

Here is a list of programs you will find on 14xtra.
