Planned chaos at Holiday World

New Media Producer: Amanda Lents

In case of disaster, the folks at Holiday World want to be prepared. So they practiced Thursday.

About sixty volunteers, some employees and family, got all dressed up, special make-up and all, to make it look like they'd been through a tornado.

They put pretend victims in trees and lifeflighted one victim to the hospital.

Pretend victim Deeann Woolems says, "It was nice to see from this standpoint how everyone works together and it's a good learning experience for all of us.

President of Holiday World & Splashin' Safari Will Koch says, "I think we've learned a lot and I think this process will make us better able to respond, should we ever need to in a real situation."

Holiday World practices this type of emergency drill every few years, just in case.
