Joe Danneman joined the 14 News team as a sports anchor in August of 2009.

He's from a Tri-State, just not this Tri-State. He grew up in northern Kentucky, just across the river from Cincinnati, OH.

Joe graduated from Syracuse University in 2001 and started his professional career in his hometown. Starting as a news writer for WXIX-TV in Cincinnati, he worked his way up at the station to news producer, sports producer and, eventually, sports reporter/anchor starting in 2004.

Some of his career highlights include covering two national championship college football games, Major League Baseball's opening day, an NFL playoff game, several NCAA tournament games and dozens of state championship high school games in Ohio and Kentucky.

When not at the office, Joe is typically working on his short game or his three-point shot (both need a ton of work), but what makes him tick is his family. His wife, Lynsey, and young son, Luke, are his first priority and make him laugh constantly.

Joe is honored to be part of your neighborhood and can't wait to interview you or someone you know.
