We provide:

  • Evidenced-based pregnancy services delivered by obstetricians and midwives in a caring environment
  • Personalized care for low and high-risk pregnancies to meet each woman’s individual needs
  • Availability of maternal-fetal medicine specialty consultation onsite
  • CenteringPregnancy® group model prenatal care, a fun and innovative alternative to traditional prenatal care
  • Complimentary prenatal education classes
  • VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) is supported as a option for appropriate candidates. We want women to know their options. For example, some physicians shy away from allowing women to attempt a vaginal birth after having a cesarean. The providers at Baptist Health Women’s Care follow the guidelines of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and we believe it is a safe and appropriate choice for most women. We work with mothers to create a birth plan and communicate the risks up front, but understand that for some women having a vaginal birth is very important to them. We are proud to have a very high rate of success with VBACs.
  • Certified lactation support team
  • Wireless fetal monitoring, encouraging freedom of movement and positions of comfort during labor and birth
  • Kangaroo Care, promoting the health and bonding benefits of skin-to-skin contact between parents and baby
  • For babies in need of special care, our Level II intensive care nursery features state-of-the-art technology and a skilled and experienced neonatal healthcare team
