    The Setup:  An upper-level heat ridge moved from the center of the country into the eastern half of the US on Wednesday.  This promoted more sunshine than clouds and quite a bit of warm air in many places.
    It took a bit longer than expected, but the heat has settled in (at least temporarily).

    It was a comfortable Tuesday and we stayed dry for around 95% of the area.  There were only a couple of late day, (bite-size) showers which moved through places like Union, Spartanburg and Laurens counties.
