The ground has been broken on the first leg of I-69.  Our stand is that this is great news for Southwestern Indiana!
  • Evansville and Owensboro are separated by about 40 miles and the Ohio River.  It's an easy drive, but some say it's like the two are separated by the Great Wall of China!
  • I know all of us are alarmed by the gas prices.

Not only are we paying about $4.00 a gallon or more right before the Memorial Day Holiday, there are predictions it could reach $5.00 or $6.00 dollars a gallon by the end of the summer.
  • With gas prices soaring, we thought we would talk about great attractions for the summer-right here in the Tri-State.
  • And, there are non-partisan races, like the race for Owensboro Mayor. Our country and our communities face tremendous challenges.
  • We say, support the school district's petition.

And, we also challenge Frankie or another member of the Taxpayers Association to record a rebuttal with WFIE and explain this action.
  • We're nice people in the Tri-State.  We don't want to get in someone's business.  But-if someone had said something-would it have saved Kalab?
