EVANSVILLE, IN. (WFIE)- The Roberts Stadium Advisory Board held their final public meeting Tuesday night at The Center in downtown Evansville.

Here are their final recommendations:

The arena should seat 11,000, not 8,600 as previously proposed.

The site should be the D-Patrick Ford acreage across from the Executive Inn.

There were some in the crowd Tuesday night that said it's just not time to build $126 million facility, but councilman Steve Bagby disagrees.

"What we need to do now is look to the future. Go after the infrastructure, aid in the decline of cities in the core, and I think this goes hand in hand," city councilman Steve Bagby said.

The next step for the proposed arena, the city council.

They should get the plan Monday.
