Church officials in Evansville say more than ten people have come forward with allegations they were sexually abused by a Southern Indiana priest.
Two weeks ago, Bishop Gerald Gettelfinger told members of the Holy Family Church in Jasper that Monsignor Othmar Schroeder had abused boys during his 28 years at the church.
Schroeder died in 1988.
He was the founding pastor of Holy Family and transferred to Sacred Heart in Schnellville in 1975.
The director of The Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests says he expects the number of these allegations to grow.
