WISCONSIN (NBC) - A Wisconsin viewer is accused of shooting his TV set because he wasn't happy with the results of Dancing with the Stars.

Authorities say 67-year-old Steven Cowan told them he didn't think contestant Bristol Palin was a good dancer.

Police say Cowan grabbed a shotgun from another room, blasted the TV, then threatened his wife.

She escaped the house unharmed, and there was a standoff for several hours.

Cowan was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment.
