The snow storm lived up to the forecast, and then some. Most parts of the Tri-State, especially southern Illinois have had 6-10" of snow. Areas of western Kentucky are just now picking up snow and will likely see 2-3" snow, combined with freezing rain/sleet over the next 6 hours. The storm will pull out tonight and leave us with a cloudy and bitter cold Saturday. Lows will drop into the low teens, and highs will struggle to break the 20-degree mark. Another winter system will bring light snow (1" or less) Saturday night and early Sunday. Snow will be likely over southern Indiana and Illinois, while freezing rain will fall over western Kentucky.
