EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - In the early months of 2019, the Diocese of Evansville says they plan to release the names of priests who have been accused of sexual abuse against minors.
According to the news release sent Wednesday from the Director of Communications for the Diocese of Evansville Tim Lilley, their investigation into clergy records is ongoing. In the news release the diocese explains they plan to release the names of those priests credibly accused on The Message website sometime in early 2019.
As to their investigation into the allegations against Father Dave Fleck, who was put on administrative leave on September 8 following a report of sexual misconduct, this is still an ongoing investigation, according to the Diocese of Evansville.
The news release also states Father Fleck is still prohibited from all public ministry.
