WARRICK CO., IN (WFIE) - Next summer, the Web.com tour will play its championship at Victoria National Golf Club in Warrick County.
The tournament is expected to generate close to $12 million in tourism expenditures over the next decade, according to Republican Indiana Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch.
Direct expenditures include money spent on local restaurants, hotels, and gas stations.
The Golf Channel, which will broadcast the tournament, will air the final round in 191 countries on Labor Day 2019.
“Victoria National, the new home for Web.com Tour Championship will result in $11.6 million in economic activity here in our state,” Lt. Gov. Crouch said during Monday’s news conference.
Since the ULFC Tournament’s inception in 2012, $1.6 million has been given to 44 local charitable organizations, according to UL&F CEO, Ron Romain.
