EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - A police chase in Evansville ended in a crash shortly before 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Dispatch says the chase began at 1st Ave and Concord and ended near Darmstadt Rd. and Mohr Rd.
Evansville Police say Dillon Clark, 22, was the driver. He is in the Vanderburgh County Jail charged with resisting law enforcement, driving with a suspended license, and reckless driving.
Clark also had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
Police say an officer pulled Clark over for speeding, but Clark sped off when the officer approached his car. That is when the chase started.
It ended when Clark took a turn to fast on Darmstadt Rd. and ran head on into another car.
Clark’s brother was in his passenger seat. He complained of pain and was taken to the hospital. The other driver is okay.
