Indiana U.S. Senate debate

Indiana U.S. Senate debate
Sen. Joe Donnelly (left) and Mike Braun are engaged in one of the country's most closely-watched Senate races this year in Indiana.

WESTVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Those hoping for Indiana’s spot in the U.S. Senate will be debating Monday night.

It’s the first debate for the hotly contested spot.

Democratic Sen. Joe Donnelly will face Republican former state representative Mike Braun. Libertarian Lucy Brenton will be there as well.

They’ll be taking on several topics Monday at 6 p.m. in Westville.

It’s an important race on the national level. You might remember, it’s the reason President Trump made a stop in Evansville, endorsing Braun.

There will be a second debate at the end of the month in Indianapolis.

We’ll be streaming both debates live.
